Grand Casino Arena Parking

Grand Casino Arena features two parking ramps (RiverCentre and Kellogg) which are connected to the complex. For most Grand Casino Arena events, pre-paid parking is available in the RiverCentre Ramp.

Parking spaces are limited and will fill up quickly on event days so visitors are recommended to purchase parking spaces in advance. Please allow plenty of time for parking and travel to the venue on the day of the event – we would suggest that you aim to be at least 20 minutes early.

If you are planning to drive, finding convenient parking at Grand Casino Arena requires some planning, especially for high-demand events. The RiverCentre parking ramp will be your most convenient option.

Many fans appreciate that this facility provides direct skyway access to the climate-controlled arena during Minnesota’s cold winter months. Accessible parking spaces are available in this RiverCentre ramp for guests requiring ADA accommodations. A second excellent option would be the Kellogg parking ramp.

During major events, parking fills quickly, so arriving well ahead of showtime is ideal. You’ll find additional parking available at the surrounding downtown ramps. These alternative parking areas may require a short walk to the arena.

Plan Around the Arena’s Gate Opening Schedules

Understanding when gates open at Grand Casino Arena helps you make the most of your experience and avoid long lines. For Minnesota Wild games, doors typically open 75 minutes before puck drop, but it’s good to check your ticket to be sure. Gate 5 often opens 90 minutes early for Old National Bank Suite Level, RBC Wealth Management Club Level, Bud Light Top Shelf Lounge, and OTG Club Members.

Non-Wild events typically see gates opening one hour before showtime, but these times can vary considerably depending on the type of event. Check your ticket so that you can give yourself enough time to park, enter through security, find your seats, purchase concessions, browse merchandise, and soak in the pre-show atmosphere.

Grand Casino Arena uses walk-through metal detectors for all events to ensure guest safety. The venue strongly discourages bringing in bags, though small purses are allowable under the bag policy’s exceptions listed in the next section of this guide.
